Music Class
When we sing, we pray twice!
Music plays an integral part in our school.
St. Augustine once said that when we sing, we pray twice. At Loreto, we enjoy singing. This is evident in our two school choirs, the Junior Choir and the Senior Choir, that participate in various festivals and Eisteddfods during the year.
The entire school is also involved in singing at assemblies and Masses and is accompanied by our own guitarists and other musicians. These musicians are learners at our school who take private music lessons at school. All learners participate in class music lessons.
The music teachers at the school offer private violin, flute, recorder, drumming, trumpet, guitar, ukulele and piano lessons. We also have Junior and Senior ensembles, a drumming ensemble and a marimba ensemble. We have already produced five CDs to celebrate the musical life of our school.

Art

We believe that every child is an artist in their own unique way. With colours as our companions and creativity as our compass, we embark on a journey of self-discovery and expression.
"Art is a place for children to learn to trust their ideas, themselves and to explore what is possible."
-Mary Ann F. Kohl
As children explore various artistic mediums, they learn to break barriers and embrace mistakes as stepping stones to greatness. At Loreto School Queenswood, art instills the values of perseverance and resilience, molding young hearts into brave souls unafraid to explore the uncharted waters of creativity.
