2025 marked an exciting milestone as we rolled out our robotics curriculum across the school, giving learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7 the chance to imagine, create and innovate like never before.

Bright eyes, beeping bots and endless imagination, our youngest learners were introduced to robotics through the Resly Novice Bot, a cheerful robot designed for discovery.

World Robot Olympiad (WRO)Loreto Queenswood participates in the World Robot Olympiad, an international robotics competition that inspires learners to think critically, collaborate and innovate through technology. The programme encourages creativity, teamwork and real-world problem-solving as learners design, build and program their own robots to complete themed challenges.
Building, Coding, Creating - Grade 4 to Grade 7
As learners grow, so do their robots and their skills.
These projects sparked real-world problem-solving and showed that coding is not just about screens ... it’s about creativity, innovation and teamwork.

From local challenges to the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), our learners regularly test their skills in competitive arenas that celebrate innovation and teamwork.Loreto has developed a strong reputation for producing dedicated, creative and resilient robotics teams, many of whom train after hours and even on weekends. These experiences extend far beyond the competition floor... they spark pride, perseverance and a sense of belonging to something bigger. As part of a growing robotics legacy, Loreto School Queenswood learners continue to make their mark, showing that with faith, focus and teamwork, they can take on any stage.
