Extramurals are about more than competition, they’re about discovery, confidence and joy. Our Primary School learners enjoy a variety of activities right here on school grounds, where they feel safe, supported and free to explore.

Our seasonal programs are designed to be gentle and child-centered, allowing every learner to explore new skills, build confidence and enjoy the joy of movement.

Learner get to move and grow!
At Loreto Queenswood, our Intermediate Phase learners (Grades 4–7) enjoy a wide range of activities right here on school grounds, in an environment where they feel safe, supported and encouraged to explore their talents and passions.

Seasonal Sports & Learn-to-Swim

Spring & Summer: Cricket, Tennis, Running, Choir and Chess.

Autumn & Winter: Netball, Soccer , Tennis, Chess, Athletics and Chess.
Each activity is designed to be engaging and learner-centered, helping every child discover new skills and the joy that comes from movement and participation. We also participate in league sports, giving learners the opportunity to develop teamwork, discipline and school spirit while competing in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Paid for Extramurals:
Grades 4 to Grade 7
In addition to seasonal sports, we offer specialized, paid for programs that allow children to pursue their unique interests:

Ballet - Grace, coordination and self-expression.

Playgol - Fun and confidence on the mini golf course.

Karate - Focus, discipline and respect in a safe setting.

Drama - Creativity, storytelling and confidence on stage.
We celebrate every joyful moment, on the field, in the pool or on stage. Our extramural programs provide children with the gift of early discovery, growth and a lifelong love of learning through movement and creativity.
